I agree with Margot. The ladies look so intent on their work. It would have to be so time consuming, but working together it would go by quicker. Interesting photo.

@ Margot - stringing selling garlands may be what keeps them from starvation, but they do enjoy the job also.

@ Fiona - the ladies sell those garlands to commuters on trains. Guess they find it convenient to string them there.
