Christmas is just so, so, so marketable. That's why everybody celebrates it. Not because they believe in anything it stands for- it just sells! The picture says it all!
@ Danette - while I love the idea of the high energy that accompanies festivals, I also realise it puts undue pressures on families to celebrate even if they cannot afford to. That part of it is sad.
